I hope that you are surrounded by family, love and fond memories on this day.
From my Family to Yours, Merry Christmas.
December is here and I hope you plan on capturing every minute of it. Too busy, too overwhelmed, too much month than money! Those can be all the feeling we feel during the month of December and we begin not to enjoy it. Let me propose this…Document your December!
There are several ways including December Daily, Journal your Christmas or create your own.
write on a 3 x 4 card every day and file it
Take one photo a day-once December it over print it or make a digital album
Have your family each take a turn a write something every day
You can do it!
This is my second year documenting my December mixing Journal Your Christmas with my own ideas. I purchased my supplies last year and alas the season is upon us…did I say I was ready.
To tackle this busy month with ease here’s my plan
Keep all your Christmas delights together
Use a smaller album-8 x 8 Album(So much fun last year used three 6 x 8 albums just for one Month!)
Uniform your Dates-Thickers, handwritten, date stamp
My Collections this year is Santa’s List by Theresa Collins. (I purchase my Christmas Collections the year before when they are marked down:))
I adore little tags, boxes and different size pages…nothing is off limits. Here I embossed a bag off center so I can hole punch the bag and add it as a page.
Bits and Bob-I wanted to add some brads and banners to bring out page more.
My dates will be date stamped this year for uniformity. I also added snowflake veneers to play off of the snowflakes on the file folder.
After printing my Manifesto I rounded the corners
Fil in the rest of my embellishments and added my title. I often like to cut out my titles 3 times for more depth and texture.
Yup you can stamp right on your wood veneers.
Inside is where I have placed my journaling and added a few more stamps.
A close up of what December means to me.
Day one is complete!
Supplies: Theresa Collins Santa’s List, Michaels Wood veneers, Michaels Stamps, My Minds Eye All is Bright , embossing powder and Silhouette Cameo.
Happy December and Merry Christmas!
Hello and Happy New Year!
I wanted to share with you Pages 21 and Beyond! I say Beyond since as I will not document past New Years and the Celebration for the Birth of Christ has passed. I have reached the mountain top on Christmas day. I may however share with you some pages I decided to add anyways. So my journal your christmas is complete. Here are the pages leading up to the Saviors Birth!
Well there you have it. I do plan on adding a few more pages and I will upload them all onto flickr. Until then..May God Keep you in this New Year.
Hello there! Here is a card I made for a dear friend. See I have never met the person but yet he is my brother. We have many things in common even though we don’t actually know each other. He is my brother in Christ, who has been recently healed of cancer. Happy Birthday Michael! May God grant you many more.
Fathers Day is fast approaching, it’s Sunday, June 17. It brought to mind the story of The Parable of the Lost Son or as we commonly refer to it as the Prodigal Son. If you are not familiar with it here is a link to it Luke15:11-32, courtesy of Biblegateway. No time to read you can also listen! Even after his son left hastily, and squandered his possession the father waited for his return daily, as Christ waits for our return from sin back to Him. With that said, I have been feverishly working on cards for Dads, Step Dads, Uncles, Nephews I felt like Wanda from in living color…..I got u! I will be posting fathers day cards all this week , take a peek.

This morning a fellow train rider was sitting on the train, snoozing as most do with her purse in a
choke hold on her lap. The train makes a few more stops as passengers board they begin to stand. I looked up and followed the eyes of one standing gentleman. Nornally he’s reading, just like today he has his book in his hand…but he is looking at something. I follow his eyes remember the sitting passenger….you know with her purse on her lap. Well the purse had become a pedestal for the bust! Hence they were bustin’ loose. Just a reminder for me to remember that we represent God not only on Sundays but everyday. Would my dress cause someone ot stumble. If Jesus were to comeback today right now, would I be ashamed?
